It’s not an exaggeration to say Lauren Curtis is a serious celebrity in the sometimes saturated world of beauty vlogging (and outside it, too) garnering view after view (after view) on her easy-to-follow tutorials that teem with actionable tips and practical advice. It’s what sets the homegrown beauty – no pun intended – apart, and here the Priceline Beauty School ambassador shares three of the hacks she swears by to look and feel camera-ready. (Whether she’s filming that day, or not.)
1. Don’t skip your face when it comes to fake tanning
It’s warming up now but don’t neglect your face if you’re starting the warmer season with a faux glow.
“Apply your base makeup as normal and then take a translucent powder and a fluffy brush and dust this over your face. Using the same brush and a matte bronzer, darken the points of your face that the sun would naturally hit (forehead, cheeks, nose), and then continue that bronzer down your neck and on any other exposed areas of skin,” says Curtis, and says this is how shefakes it.
This is my “have you taken the photo yet quick I’m embarrassed” face 😂😩

2. Find the right product to suit your skin
Curtis tells us her secret beauty product for fresh skin is the Innoxa Skin Perfect Pore Vanishing Cream, but everyone should find something that works for their unique needs. “This primer does an incredible job of smoothing over any pores, wrinkles, fine lines or uneven skin texture. It feels like a velvety light balm and makes your skin look flawless,” she says.
3. No make-up can make up for a poor diet
There’s no miracle product that will substitute a healthy, sustainable eating plan, and Curtis swears by an inside-out approach. “I start the day with oats, coconut milk, cinnamon, flaked almonds, psyllium husk, chia seeds and frozen blueberries,” says Curtis, and has one high rotation meal for dinner. “My boyfriend and I usually cook steamed brocollini, green beans and asparagus, with homemade healthy fries and butter beans cooked in Italian tomato paste. Doesn’t sound too appetizing but it’s delicious and super healthy.” No point messing with a good thing, right?
👫💕 always taking sneaky photos 😌😇
