It’s never too early to start invoking the spirit of Halloween. Seriously, we’ve been planning our costumes for months. But let’s be honest — we can’t celebrate the spooky season without our Netflix thrills and chills. If you’re already consulting the stars on your love life, your Starbucks order, and your perfect fall fragrance, why not ask for their insight on other important topics? Such as which Halloween movie to watch while you’re working through your third bag of candy corn.

And while there are plenty of scary television shows out there for a chilling night in, we’re offering up some flicks that might be spooky but won’t necessarily be making you jump out of your seat during every scene. From witchy coming of age tales to ghoulish love stories, we’ve mapped all the best Halloween movies to their zodiac equivalent. Aries — Practical Magic

Fiercely independent women taking matters into their own hands? Amazing ’90s fashion? A soundtrack that includes Stevie Nicks and Faith Hill? Practical Magic is everything an Aries could want from a Halloween movie. Born into a magical, matriarchal family in a small town, two sisters played by Sandra Bullock and Nicole Kidman band together to break an ancient family curse — and get rid of an abusive boyfriend along the way. Strong-willed Aries will love rooting for these thoroughly modern witches.

Taurus — The Nightmare Before Christmas

For Taurus, Halloween is all about snuggling up with a good movie — or three. Luckily, Tim Burton has all your binge-watching needs way covered. Cleverly written and richly animated, The Nightmare Before Christmas But why not queue the Corpse Bride and Coraline too, while you’re at it? Gemini — Twitches

Because duh, Geminis need a movie that speaks to their dual nature. In this Disney Channel Original Movie, Tia and Tamera Mowry play twin witches with polar opposite personalities. Born into royalty in the magical kingdom of Coventry, the sisters are separated at birth and adopted by two different families on Earth. On their 21st birthday, the twins finally meet, discover their powers, and team up to save Coventry from otherworldly evil.

Cancer — Casper

For Cancers in search of a good cry, look no further than Casper. This tender ghost tale follows a lovable but lonely spirit who befriends Kat, the 13-year-old daughter of a paranormal psychologist. When a greedy woman inherits the mansion Casper haunts, Kat helps him protect his home and uncover secrets from his past. Keep some Kleenex on hand for this one, Cancer friends.

Leo — The Rocky Horror Picture Show

Over-the-top in every way, Rocky Horror is the ultimate Leo movie. In this campy musical, a newly engaged couple gets stranded at the extravagant home of Dr. Frank N. Furter, an alien mad scientist. Leos are known for being loud and dramatic, so they will love participating in all the interactive fan rituals that go along with this cult classic flick. Host a Rocky Horror viewing party and costume contest for all your friends, if you’re feeling extra lionesque.

Virgo — Hocus Pocus

Virgos are always striving for perfection. They pursue their goals ruthlessly, and their penchant for beauty can make them seem vain at times. In Hocus Pocus, Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker, and Kathy Najimy play the Sanderson sisters, a trio of 17th century Salem witches who are accidentally resurrected on Halloween Eve. Determined to regain their youth and beauty forever, the sisters plan to run amok and suck the life out of Salem’s children. The only obstacles in their way? Three kids, a zombie ex-lover, and an immortal cat named Binx.

Libra — Fun Size

Libras are the shameless flirts of the zodiac, so they will definitely fall hard for Fun Size, a Halloween rom-com starring Victoria Justice and Thomas Mann from Me and Earl And The Dying Girl. Here, Victoria plays Wren, a smart high school senior who gets distracted by a text from the hottest boy in school and accidentally loses her little brother in a sea of trick-or-treaters on Halloween (totally relatable). Recruiting two nerds and her sassy best friend, Wren goes on an epic search for her sibling. It’s basically Sixteen Candles meets Nick and Norah’s Infinite Playlist with costumes.

Scorpio — The Craft

Halloween is basically an international Scorpio holiday. To suit their dark and mysterious disposition, we recommend The Craft — a witchy ’90s revenge fantasy. When Sarah, a troubled teenager with telekinetic powers, transfers to a Los Angeles Catholic high school, she befriends a group of outcast girls with an affinity for the occult. Uniting to form a powerful coven, the girls begin casting spells and curses on their enemies. Total Scorpio move.

Sagittarius — Halloweentown

Adventure-seeking Sagittarians simply must revisit this Disney Channel masterpiece. On her 13th birthday, Marnie Piper discovers she is descended from a long line of witches. Determined to learn more about her powers, she follows her grandmother Aggie home to Halloweentown, where vampires, ghosts, werewolves, witches, and more supernatural beings all live peacefully. That is, until residents start mysteriously disappearing.

Capricorn — Addams Family Values

Forever the voice of reason, Capricorns can sometimes come off as cold or harsh. It’s not their fault — dry humor and brutal honesty come naturally to this sign. That’s why Caps will revel in Wednesday Addams’ lethal one-liners in Addams Family Values. Remember when she delivers a scathing takedown of American colonialism before setting fire to a summer camp? Iconic.

Aquarius — Beetlejuice

Quirky and creative Aquarians will definitely appreciate this surrealist screwball comedy. In Beetlejuice, a recently deceased couple summon an eccentric, green-haired demon named Beetlejuice to help them scare away the new tenants in their home. But Beetlejuice’s unorthodox services come at a heavy personal price, and things quickly escalate from wacky afterlife antics to total pandemonium. Did we mention the whole movie has a cybergoth vibe?

Pisces — Edward Scissorhands

For the sensitive and lovable loner of the zodiac, this atypical fairy tale is a match made in movie heaven. Edward Scissorhands centers around a strange, almost-human man brought to life by an inventor who died before he could give his creation a pair of hands. For years, Edward lives alone in his creator’s dark, abandoned home. That is, until a nice Avon sales lady invites him to move in with her suburban family.
