Cosmetics Plus Website Terms of Service & In-Store Service Waiver

1. General
1.1  These Terms apply to your use of the Cosmetics Plus website, online services, and any in-store services including body and ear piercings, jewellery changes, consultations, styling services, and other treatments (“Services”).
1.2  By using our website, booking, or receiving Services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you must stop using our website or Services immediately.
1.3  Cosmetics Plus reserves the right to update these Terms at any time. Changes take effect when posted online. Please check regularly.

2. Eligibility
2.1  You must be of legal age to consent to the Services in your state or territory.
2.2  Minors require a parent or legal guardian to consent prior to receiving Services. Guardians must provide accurate information and valid ID.
2.3  Cosmetics Plus may refuse Services to anyone who provides false information, is under the influence of alcohol or drugs, or displays aggressive or unsafe behaviour.

3. Health & Safety
3.1  You must disclose any relevant medical conditions, allergies, medications, or health concerns that could affect the safety or outcome of the Services.
3.2  Cosmetics Plus may require medical clearance from a healthcare professional before performing certain Services.
3.3  You acknowledge that Services carry inherent risks, including but not limited to pain, bleeding, swelling, infection, scarring, allergic reactions, and nerve sensitivity. You voluntarily accept these risks.
3.4  You confirm that you are not currently under the influence of alcohol or drugs at the time of receiving Services.
3.5  You confirm that you are not pregnant or breastfeeding, unless you have provided a valid medical certificate from a qualified doctor confirming that you are cleared to undergo the requested procedure.
3.6  You must disclose any known history of keloid scarring. Individuals with such a history are at increased risk of abnormal scar formation. Cosmetics Plus accepts no liability for any such outcomes.
3.7  Piercing procedures carry inherent health risks including but not limited to infection, allergic reaction, scarring, and nerve sensitivity. Cosmetics Plus accepts no liability for any health complications arising from the procedure.

4. Client Acknowledgements
4.1  You confirm that you have had the opportunity to ask questions prior to receiving Services and are satisfied with the responses given.
4.2  Filming or photography of any procedure is not permitted without prior written approval from Cosmetics Plus staff.
4.3  All information you provide is true and correct. Cosmetics Plus accepts no liability for complications arising from undisclosed or inaccurate health information.

5. Bookings & Cancellations
5.1  A $10 deposit is required to secure all online standard piercing bookings.
5.2  If you are unable to attend your scheduled appointment, please contact the store at least 24 hours in advance to reschedule. Your deposit may be transferred to the new appointment date.
5.3  Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice, or failure to attend without prior notice, will result in the deposit being forfeited.

6. Appointments & Identification
6.1  A valid photo ID may be required to verify your age and identity.
6.2  Services may be rescheduled or refused if you arrive under the influence of drugs or alcohol, or if you exhibit unsafe or inappropriate behaviour.
6.3  Emergency services may be called in the event of injury. You are responsible for any costs associated with emergency care.

7. Aftercare
7.1  Proper aftercare is essential to minimise complications and promote healing.
7.2  Cosmetics Plus provides aftercare instructions specific to the Services received. Following these instructions is your responsibility.
7.3  Healing times vary depending on the Service and individual factors.
7.4  You should seek medical advice if complications arise. Cosmetics Plus is not liable for issues caused by improper aftercare.

8. Service Guarantee
8.1  Cosmetics Plus strives for high-quality service but does not offer refunds on in-store Services.
8.2  Where applicable, follow-up appointments may be offered to correct placement issues or service errors, at the discretion of Cosmetics Plus.

9. Personal Information
9.1  Cosmetics Plus may collect personal information including name, contact details, date of birth, photo ID, and health information for the purpose of providing Services.
9.2  Your information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
9.3  If you do not provide requested information, some Services may not be available.

10. Photographs & Marketing
10.1  Representatives may request your consent to photograph Services for marketing or training purposes.
10.2  By consenting, you grant Cosmetics Plus permission to use photos in print, digital, and social media materials without compensation.
10.3  Filming or photography of procedures by clients is not permitted without prior approval from Cosmetics Plus staff.

11. Liability
11.1  To the maximum extent permitted by law, Cosmetics Plus is not responsible for loss or damage arising from Services, except where caused directly by Cosmetics Plus’ negligence.
11.2  You agree to indemnify Cosmetics Plus for any claims arising from your failure to follow these Terms or aftercare instructions.
11.3  Nothing in these Terms limits your statutory rights under Australian consumer law.

12. Minors
12.1  Minors require a parent or legal guardian to provide consent prior to receiving Services.
12.2  Guardians must provide valid identification, ensure instructions are followed, and accept full responsibility for the minor’s care and compliance with these Terms.
12.3  Cosmetics Plus reserves the right to refuse Services if age or consent cannot be verified.

13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the state or territory in Australia where Services are provided. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of that state or territory.

14. Giant Dumpling Squishy Competition Terms and Conditions

14.1 Competition Period: The competition commences at 9:00am AEST on 26 June 2026 and closes at 11:59pm AEST on 31 July 2026 ("Competition Period").
Entries received outside the Competition Period will not be accepted.

14.2 Eligibility:

a. Entry is open to residents of Australia.
b. Entrants under 18 years of age must have the permission of a parent or legal guardian to enter.
c. Employees of the Promoter, participating retailers, and their immediate family members are not eligible to enter.

14.3 How to Enter: To enter, entrants must during the Competition Period complete all of the following steps:
14.3.1 Purchase a Dumpling Squishy product from a participating retailer.
14.3.2 Film a reveal, unboxing, or reaction video featuring the purchased product.
14.3.3 Upload the video to TikTok and/or Instagram.
14.3.4 Tag and follow Cosmetics Plus's official social media account @cosmeticsplus
14.3.5 Include the hashtag #CosmeticsPlus #CosmeticsPlusSquishies #GiantDumplingWin
14.3.6 Retain proof of purchase.

Each eligible video submission constitutes one (1) entry per person.

14.4 Entry Requirements: Entries must:

• Be the original work of the entrant.
• Not infringe any third-party intellectual property rights.
• Not contain offensive, defamatory, discriminatory, illegal, or inappropriate content.
• Not contain music, images, or other content used without appropriate permission.
• Comply with the applicable TikTok and Instagram terms of use.

Please have fun and stay safe! Do not attempt stunts or risky activities when filming your Dumpling Squishy reveal. Children should be supervised by a parent or guardian at all times.

Cosmetics Plus reserves the right to remove or disqualify any entry that breaches these Terms and Conditions.

14.5 Prize: There will be one (1) winner. The
winner will receive:    
One (1) Giant Dumpling
Squishy measuring approximately 25cm. 

Total prize pool value: AUD $69.95

 The prize is not transferable, exchangeable, or redeemable for cash. If the prize becomes unavailable, Cosmetics Plus reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value.

14.6 Winner Selection: The winner will be selected by a judging panel appointed by the Promoter. Judging will be conducted by the end of July 2026 based on the following criteria:       
- Creativity  
- Originality
- Entertainment value
- Overall quality of the reveal video

The decision of the judging panel is final and binding, and no correspondence will be entered into.

14.7 Winner Notification: The winner will be notified via direct message on the social media platform used for entry within seven (7) days of the judging decision being made.

The winner's name may also be
published on the Cosmetics Plus's social media pages and website.

14.8 Unclaimed Prize: If the winner cannot be contacted within fourteen (14) days after notification, or fails to claim the prize within a reasonable time, Cosmetics Plus reserves the right to select an alternative winner based on the original judging criteria.

14.9 Proof of Purchase: The winner must provide proof of purchase if requested by Cosmetics Plus.
Failure to provide valid proof of purchase may result in disqualification and selection of an alternative winner.

14.10 Intellectual Property and Usage Rights: By entering, entrants grant Cosmetics Plus a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to use, reproduce, publish, display, edit, and share the entry content for marketing, promotional, and advertising purposes across all media channels, without further compensation.
Entrants warrant that they own or have permission to use all content appearing in their entry.

14.11 Social Media Disclaimer: This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with:

• TikTok
• Instagram
• Meta Platforms, Inc.

Entrants release TikTok, Instagram, and Meta from any liability associated with this promotion.

14.12 Liability: To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Promoter excludes all liability for any loss, damage, injury, or claim arising from participation in the competition or acceptance and use of the prize.
Nothing in these Terms and Conditions excludes any consumer guarantees or rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

14.13 Cosmetics Plus reserves the right to verify entries and entrants and to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process or breaches these Terms and Conditions.

Cosmetics Plus reserves the right to amend, suspend, or cancel the competition where reasonably necessary due to circumstances beyond its control.

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia.
