On the ball Beauty addicts are sticking POM POMS to their faces in a bonkers makeup trend… so would YOU try it?

by Sophie Roberts / Monday, 23 October 2017

The bizarre craze has been sweeping Instagram – but we’re yet to see anyone brave the look in public.

2017 has been the year for quirky fashion and beauty – and the bizarre trends don’t appear to be going anywhere anytime soon.

Make-up addicts have been flaunting their pom-pom faces on Instagram in recent months.

The unusual look involves dotting the craft products around the face.
Many opt for multi-coloured pom-poms for maximum eye-catching effect.
While some focus the fluffy materials around the lids or lips, others dot them sporadically across their cheeks.
After creating the creative looks, Instagrammers have shared snaps of them on social media.

If you wan’t to replicate the craze yourself, it is surprisingly easy.
All you need is some pom-poms and a spot of eyelash glue.
Using the adhesive product, apply the small balls wherever you please.
Get creative by using different size craft products and a variety of colours.
As with any makeup look, be extremely careful when placing anything near your eyes.

This isn’t the first bonkers beauty trend to storm the internet.

Bat eyeliner is another look that’s tipped to be popular this Halloween.

Earlier this month, make-up fanatics experimented with backwards winged eyeliner.

Meanwhile, we previously told how Instagram users were obsessing over a floral eyeliner craze where people stuck flowers on their eyelids.
